“We sold our last two houses FSBO in one day. This last house, we put on Zillow FSBO for months, got several interested nibbles, but no offers. The Government raised interest rates, and made the market cool. We had gotten numerous calls from realtors, wanting us to list with them, but we were confident we would find a buyer ourselves.
Then came Bob Jackson. He said he had buyers interested in our area, and in our price range. He never asked to list. Furthermore, he wanted to see the property, inside and out. He gave us such a sense of confidence and it was obvious his motivation was not selfishness or greed. So, for the first time in 25 years, we asked him to list us.
Bob held several open houses, with his little jug of tea, and met several of the neighbors. Bob made reasonable suggestions to spruce up the property, and gave us his thoughts on price point. The house is 63 years old, and he helped us manage our (and buyers’) expectations. He always had time to talk to us, and give us a virtual hug when it was needed.
Eventually, Bob brought us a buyer. The PERFECT buyer, who loved the house as much as we did, and had reasonable expectations for repair and improvement at inspection. We’ll let them tell their story.
Bob remained professional, and clearly described his role as representing sellers AND buyers. We were still very comfortable during the entire process.
TLDR: List with this guy. He is a friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced problem solver, with high integrity and honorable motivation.”
